We are proposing an innovative relationship-building community model that encourages hard work and dedication, through making space for each of our unique talents and assets.
We are building support systems into the housing system.
Our goal: Accumulate community support and the pool of initial funds required to seed a model community project that will garner the support needed to qualify for multiple government grants, funding and loan guarantors primarily through the National Housing Strategy and the Canada Agricultural Loans Act
This is a multi-stakeholder project that is adaptable and manageable through direct action and collaborative work.
This is possible due to the co-operation and collaboration of multiple institutions, organizations, groups, individuals, families and the communities we live in.
Ultimately, we envision the co-operation and collaboration of our governments, multiple institutions, organizations, groups, individuals, families and the communities we live in, but recognize that to begin with we may not be linked with all the stakeholders listed below yet since what we are pushing the boundaries of what the current social housing framework is! (Exciting, isn't it!?)
Below you will find the basic blueprint of the model, and how it may work, fitting into the greater whole.
